Full Time Qualified MOT Tester
About the MOT Tester role.
As an MOT Tester you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicle safety. We are looking for a Qualified Class 4 MOT Tester to join our busy workshop. This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities
- MOT Testing
- Remaining upto-date with MOT rules and legislation
- Communicating with Service and Parts departments
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy
Qualifications
- Qualified MOT Tester, ideally with recent workshop experience (however this is not essential).
- Full driving licence with no endorsements for drink, drug or dangerous driving
- NVQ Level 3 or appropriate qualification
Skills, ability and attitude
- Positive and proactive
- Ability to both follow instruction and work on your own initiative
- Team player, willing to support your colleagues
- Good communication skills
- Willing to undertake training as required
- Excellent time management
- Expertise and professionalism are key features and will need to be carried through in your work; customer care is of upmost importance at all times.

Full time Vehicle Technician
About the Vehicle Technician role.
As a Vehicle Technician, you play an important role in keeping the local community running. We are ideally looking for a Level 3 Qualified Technician, Main Dealer or Authorised Repair experience and MOT qualifications are advantageous but not essential. Qualifications for EV and hybrid drivetrains would also be an advantage; however it is expected that the successful candidate will attend full training to become an EV specialist.

Responsibilities
- Fault diagnostic and rectification
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Be able to offer a careful and considered approach to all repairs.
- Follow manufacturer warranty processes.
- Work effectively as part of a team and on one’s own initiative. Have excellent time management.
- Have good organisational skills and display accuracy in their work.
- Be comfortable working with both passenger car and light commercial vehicles.
- Proficiently communicate and coordinate with workshop control and parts departments.
Qualifications

- Keen to develop new skills and training. For those not already qualified, this will include a development path to obtain Ford qualifications through a combination of online learning and practical learning at the excellent Henry Ford Academy.
